This has been one whirlwind of a week (or 2)! Wednesday, we celebrated our 9th anniversary. We are privileged to share our anniversary with Jason's grandparents who celebrated their 70th! They are a wonderful couple and an inspiration. I am confident that one day we will be celebrating our 70th, too!
It has been an amazing 9 years so far. We met almost fifteen years ago as two teenagers on a mission trip. God's hand has been evident in our relationship since that very moment. I'm not saying there haven't been bumps on this road, there have, but we don't doubt that we are exactly where we are meant to be. I am truly and undeniably blessed to be able to live everyday with a man who has truly become my partner in this life. I am looking forward to the day that we become a team of three!

That day is growing closer with each step on this journey...and we just took a big one! OUR HOME STUDY WAS APPROVED!! We are ecstatic! So what does this mean for us now? We are now officially registered into India's adoption system and have applied to be matched with our sweet baby girl. The Indian government will review that and hopefully approve the match in the next few weeks. We will make sure to announce it far and wide as soon as we get that news. We have also applied to CIS for approval to adopt from a Hague Convention country. The results from that will take some time as well. The next major step for us will be to complete our dossier and get it sent. We are working towards that as quickly as we can. Please continue to pray for us as we work towards bringing our beautiful Cora baby home!
