Well, it seems that yesterday's post was a little premature. We just got a call from our agency that our dossier has not been sent to India, yet. Prior to Thursday, our agency had received permission to go ahead and forward our dossier to the RIPA (orphanage) even though our status had not been updated in the computer system. Right before they were going to put our dossier in the mail, our consultant received an email telling her not to send the dossier yet. It seems there was a miscommunication and the dossier cannot be sent to the RIPA until the computer system shows that we have been moved to the next level.
I know that there is something else at work here and His timing will be perfect. But every day that passes is another day that our baby is without her forever family and that breaks my heart. And we are all another day older.
So...we are stalled for the moment, but we are hoping to have more information by the end of this week. We will try to keep everyone updated.
