This has been a big week for us. Aside from being the beginning of what we call "Birthday Week" at our house (Jason and my birthdays are exactly 7 days apart), we got word that our homestudy was being forwarded to the orphanage. That meant it was time to send our dossier to our agency! So on my birthday, we woke up early(ish) and sent the papers that will be read by the people who will make the final decisions on our adoption to EAC. Eek!

It feels so surreal that we are finally moving forward. There is a lot more waiting ahead. On Friday, our completed dossier was sent by our agency to India. We are waiting, now, for the next step. We should receive our daughter's referral information in the fairly near future. We can't wait to be able to announce that we've signed our acceptance of her!
So....a bundle of paper filled with information about us and overflowing with hope for our sweet Cora should arrive in India in the next few days. It's been a fabulous week! Can't wait to see what the next few weeks will bring!
