My Sweet Luckshmoo,
Just 4 more days and you will be a 5 year old. Looking over this past year, it astounds me how much you have learned! You have learned to feed yourself with a spoon. You have become totally independent with going to the potty. You are starting to dress yourself. You know how to spell your first name. You understand what a family is. You know what it means when you sing that Mommy and Daddy always come back. You are learning what it means to be a good friend. You have learned that shaving cream and fuzzy things won't kill you. You have learned so much of this at home and at your amazing school. Mommy and Daddy are so happy that you go to school there. We are so thankful for your teacher and all of the amazing staff who have touched your life.
This morning started off like normal with breakfast but you decided that blowing bubbles in your water was way more fun than drinking it. Then it really surprised you that you were all wet!
You listened well and helped Mommy and Daddy get you ready for this special day at school. You even got ready in time to listen to a tape and read to Perkins Panda!
Then it was time to go to school for the graduation program! You had so much fun singing with all of your friends. Mommy and Daddy loved watching you smile and clap and sing!
We said a big congratulations to your buddy RJ as he graduated! You will miss him so much as he goes to his new school next year! We are so proud of you, RJ!
When we got home, you had to make sure that all of your babies were fed and cuddled. Mommy wrapped a baby carrier from one of her scarves and you packed Baby around while you helped me get things done.
You were much more interested in dancing than napping this afternoon and your ankle chains jingled while you twirled!
You did take a little nap after all that dancing. And when you woke up, Auntie Mandy and Rory were here! You were so excited to see your friend and happy to have her here for the next few days.
At bedtime, you girls sang and read to Perkins Panda. Then the sleepover in your room began!
Good night, my baby.
You are always and forever my wish come true.
You are safe. You are loved. I will see you when you wake up.
1 day closer to being 5.
All My Love,
Mommy
